Each weekday afternoon, the new INSPIRATION tent will be a place of creativity and peace, where anyone over 16 can pop in and try a range of arts and craft activities. Most activities are free, but there may be a small charge for some items of decoration. Plus a full programme of workshops, including flower arranging and watercolour painting, will be available. You will need to register for these tutored sessions (there may be a small fee) where you can learn a new skill.

Please be aware that the INSPIRATION tent is for adults only; children will need to be looked after elsewhere, for example in HQ FIZZ or BUZZ. Babies in prams are welcome, if they are happy to doze or watch your creative time! If you would like to do crafts with your children, then come to ART ATTACK at our Saturday Fun Days.

Kids Clubs during Lark in the Park, weekdays 2 - 3.45 pm

FIZZ
Key Stage 1 (4-7 yrs)
A great combination of arts and crafts, storytelling, songs and games will provide two weeks of fun for boys and girls aged between 4 and 7 years. Once in the venue the children join a small group and work together during the activities and games. Our team of experienced leaders make sure that they enjoy themselves in a safe environment and help them learn lots of valuable lessons about friendship, choices, love and forgiveness. In keeping with our recycling theme for 2008, we will be making some amazing things out of recycled materials especially on our ART ATTACK TUESDAYS.

BUZZ
Key Stage 2 (7-11 yrs)
An action-packed programme awaits children this year in our Buzz venue – the Big Top. Over the two weeks children will have a chance to participate in games, drama, songs and group discussions about important life issues. They will be encouraged to find new friends, make good choices and work together during our exciting games. In keeping with our recycling theme we will be producing some giant pictures and making some amazing things on our ART ATTACK THURSDAYS. New this year is our resident robot and some thrilling go-kart races on our special track inside the venue. It’s going to be such fun!

HQ FAMILY SHOWTIME
On each Friday afternoon of Lark in the Park we plan to host a special showcase for all Fizz and Buzz children and their parents in the Big Top. Kicking off at 4.15, this 30-minute action-packed family time will give the children the opportunity to show you some of their art work and clever creations using recycled materials. You will be able to hear the songs, join in a giant game and watch a special drama presentation starring our very own robot.
